So shiny
Home from a long and productive weekend out at the house. Here's what it looks like right now (with a finished roof!):
Thanks guys. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Some of the glue/rubber work inside the scupper was a little messy, but that's the nature of the beast, right?
Angelo, all that cedar around the trapezoidal window was very difficult to cut, but I think it came out great. You think funky cause they're too small? Or the angle is too steep?
Yeah, fussy due to the short pieces of siding. If a window is going to be that close to a corner, it should engage the corner trim IMHO. Or be pulled further away. Not in-between. If you don't know the exact thickness of the final exterior finish, this can be hard.
For all those little pieces your execution does look very good!
Looking great!! Thanks for keeping us updated ...
ReplyDeleteNice, crisp and clean - like that end fascia and break metal work! A bit funky with the little tiny pieces of siding beside that window though...
